Union County will be hosting a NJ911 8-hour Tele-Communicators Course, August 15, 2022 from 8am to 4pm.
A CIT Trained Dispatcher is the Critical Link between an Individual in Crisis and a Law Enforcement Response.
Students will learn:
Their Role in their CIT-NJ County Program
De-Escalation Techniques
Knowledge of Mental Illness
Identifying Signs and Symptoms
Self-Care
Scenario Based Training.
There is a $100 fee per student. Upon Graduation the Student will receive 8 NJ State CTE’s.
