CIT-NJ 2-Day NJ-VRT Training October 13 & 14 2026
This training is designed to equip first responders, & co-responders, with the knowledge & skills necessary to effectively handle interactions with veterans who may be experiencing mental health crises or other challenges.

This Training incorporates elements of:
Understanding Veteran Experiences
Crisis Intervention Techniques
Mental Health Awareness
Resource Connections

The goal of NJ-VRT training is to:
Reduce negative interactions between veterans & first responders.
Increase the understanding and compassion shown towards veterans.
Improve the outcomes for veterans experiencing crises.
